Hey McLaren. What The Hell is going on?!

I would love to be a fly on the wall in a meeting between Martin Whitmarsh, Ron Dennis and Lewis Hamilton. I can’t imagine it would be a very pleasant meeting after the latest cock-up. Lewis Hamilton and the Bahrain Grand Prix

Last week I wrote how I felt sorry for Lewis Hamilton at the Chinese GP for getting penalised because his gearbox broke. This week though I feel sorry for his engineers after the arse kicking they will no doubt be getting for Lewis and Martin Whitmarsh. When something happens once (The rear nearside wheel not doing up on Jenson Button’s car,) it’s unfortunate, if it happens again a second week later, then it looks like carelessness (The same issue on Lewis’ car.) Making F1 fairer… A little musing

Hopefully you got to see Sunday’s Grand Prix in China. If not, I suggest that you get onto the BBC iPlayer and take a look as it is well worth investing a couple of hours in watching it. Nico Rosberg claimed a well deserved maiden victory, both for himself and the new Mercedes GP team and Michael Schumacher could well have joined him on the podium had his pit crew actually done his wheel nut up.
